VR Zone is a Free to Play VR gaming entity that exists to educated, advocate and promote VR content at events and host fun VR LAN’s from one gamer to another. Try a game or three and come back for more! Become an expert of your favorite virtual domain!

Tournament Info

Rules and regulations on our various tournaments. General Terms:

  • All tournaments are free to enter. Competitors must complete both the VR Zone waiver and the tournament form.
  • Check-ins begin at the listed event start time and continue for 10 minutes. Competitors must be in the VR Zone to check in. Competitors not present 10 minutes after the start will forfeit their spot in the event.
  • Tournament conditions are subject to change at the discretion of tournament managers. All competitors must adhere to the VR ZONE code of conduct. By participating in this tournament, you agree to video recording and use of the footage in promotional materials.

Walkabout Mini Golf Tournament

Saturday 3pm
  • The Walkabout Mini Golf Tournament is a score-based event. Players will compete in pairs across multiple rounds of play, with each round eliminating more players. Win for a $50 Cash prize.
    • Round 1 (Qualifiers): Tourist Trap, First 9. Play anytime on Friday and Saturday. Play in pairs or groups. Report scores to the front desk. Players with scores below the median (rounded down) will be eliminated.
    • Round 2 (12pm): Tourist Trap, Back 9. Top 4 highest scores advance.

      In case of a tie, remaining players will play through the hard mode of the course, starting with front 9 and if needed, continuing to back 9.
    • Finals: Top 4 players will play on a course of their choosing. Player with the highest score wins.

Blaston 1v1 Tournament

Saturday 7pm
  • The Dreamcon Blaston Cup 2024 is a knockout Blaston tournament. Competitors play best of 3 matches, with only winners progressing to the next round. Win for a $50 Cash prize.
  • Top 4 players of each con will compete in a head-to-head finals
    • Players will use the following loadout:
      • Raptor
      • Luma
      • Viper
      • Hammer
      • Wildcat
      • Nova

Fruit Ninja Survival Mode Leaderboard

  • The 2024 Fruit Ninja Challenge Leaderboard is a score based leaderboard. Competitors play throughout the weekend for a chance to win $50 Cash prize!
  • Settings:
    • SURVIVAL MODE
  • TOP THREE SCORES will only be recorded.
  • Scored must be visually checked by VR Staff at the time of achievement. Please notify staff of your score before moving onward otherwise score will NOT be recorded.

Space Pirate Trainer

  • The Space Pirate Trainer Tournament is a weekend long leaderboard. $50 Cash prize to the winner!
  • Settings:
    • ARCADE MODE
    • LEVEL ONE START
  • TOP THREE SCORES will only be recorded.
  • Scored must be visually checked by VR Staff at the time of achievement. Please notify staff of your score before moving onward otherwise score will NOT be recorded.
